Wide Wood Slat Panels
Wide slat panels place more emphasis on each wood face and use fewer repeated lines across a wall. The profile is a useful alternative when a classic narrow slat pattern feels too busy for the room.
Design & material.
Broader faces make the grain and finish easier to see from a distance. A narrow dark reveal separates the slats and gives the surface depth. We compare the repeat against the width of the wall, television or headboard so that the pattern feels deliberate at both edges.
Installation details.
A wide profile needs careful treatment around small cutouts and short wall returns. We review panel dimensions, end slats and exposed backing before confirming the layout. Product samples establish the actual face width, reveal, grain and color; acoustic claims depend on the selected panel and assembly.
Should I choose classic or wide slats?
Classic slats give a finer repeated rhythm. Wide slats show more wood per face and a stronger individual repeat. Compare both at the distance from which you will normally see the wall.
