Flexible Ribbed Wood Panels
Flexible ribbed wood systems carry a repeated wood texture around a curve. They can be considered for curved walls, columns and reception features where rigid flat panels would need a different construction.
Design & material.
The curve changes both the visible spacing and the light on the ribs as you move through the room. Walnut and white oak finishes offer distinct material directions. We plan where the curved treatment starts, ends and connects to flat wall sections.
Installation details.
The minimum supported radius is product-specific. We verify that the selected panel can follow the substrate and review backing, attachment, seams and end treatment. A flexible finish layer does not create the supporting curve; preparation of that surface is part of the scope discussion.
Can the same system wrap any column?
No. The column diameter, direction of bending and panel specification determine compatibility. We confirm those details before selecting the material and mounting method.
