Fluted Wood Panels
Fluted wood panels use repeated channels to create depth across a continuous decorative surface. The profile combines the character of the wood with a regular pattern of light and shadow.

Design & material.
A finer fluted repeat works well when texture should remain visible without dominating the room. Walnut gives the relief a darker, warmer appearance, while white oak creates a lighter surface. The same profile can read differently under daylight and a nearby wall light.
Installation details.
We review channel alignment across panel joints, the finish of cut edges and how the profile meets adjacent flat surfaces. Outlets, corners and furniture clearances are considered before material quantities are confirmed. The physical sample establishes the groove shape and final finish.
What distinguishes fluted from ribbed panels?
Fluted designs emphasize channels in the surface; ribbed designs emphasize projecting rounded ribs. Product profiles vary, so a sample is the best way to compare the actual cross-sections.
