Tongue & Groove Wood Panels

Tongue-and-groove paneling creates a continuous wood surface with a defined joint between boards or panels. It offers a flatter architectural treatment than projecting ribs or felt-backed slats.

Design & material.

The direction of the joints changes the room's visual emphasis. Vertical runs can relate to the height of a wall, while a horizontal composition creates another rhythm. Walnut or white oak finishes can be considered for full-height walls or lower-wall treatments.

Installation details.

Joint alignment, perimeter clearances and fixing details depend on the selected system. We review corners, cutouts and transitions to baseboards or ceilings. Ceiling applications need their own review of support, attachment and material suitability; they are not assumed to be the same scope as a wall.

Is tongue-and-groove suitable for a ceiling?

A compatible product may be used, but the ceiling substrate and attachment requirements must be checked separately. We confirm the assembly and installation scope before committing to that application.
