Paintable Wide Ribbed Panels
Wide ribbed paintable panels give each rounded face more presence. The result is a stronger dimensional texture than standard narrow ribbing, with color selected independently of a natural wood finish.
Design & material.
Broad ribs can suit a large wall or a feature viewed from a distance. They create more distinct bands of light and shadow, especially under directional lighting. We consider the overall repeat together with the wall's dimensions and the scale of nearby furniture.
Installation details.
The profile depth is checked against door trim, outlets and anything mounted to the wall. Panel joints and partial ribs at the perimeter need a planned finish. Preparation and paint application are specified for the product so that both the broad faces and the recessed areas receive a consistent finish.
Will a wide ribbed wall project farther into the room?
That depends on the selected profile's actual depth. We confirm the sample dimensions and any clearance requirements before specifying the wall assembly.
