Paintable Wide Fluted Panels
Wide fluted paintable panels use broad channels to create a more open repeat. They suit a wall where the profile should remain clearly visible from across the room.
Design & material.
The larger channel scale makes color and shadow work together. A light finish can soften the relief; darker tones make the change in depth more pronounced. We compare the repeat to the width of the bed, console or other focal furniture.
Installation details.
Wider profiles make irregular terminations more noticeable. We plan the start and finish of the pattern, panel seams and any outlet openings before installation. Edge finishing, wall preparation and the paint specification are included in the final scope rather than left as separate visual decisions.
Is wide fluted simply a color option for standard fluted?
No. It is a different profile scale. The spacing of the channels changes the wall's appearance and can change how seams, corners and cutouts are detailed.
